Young Artists at SMC immerse themselves in lessons, chamber music, and classes that prepare them for high-level performances, competitions, and future conservatory studies.
Program at a glance
A comprehensive pre-professional track for talented student musicians looking to deepen their musical understanding and gain elite performance experience.
Ages 11–13
Junior Division
A nurturing environment for younger musicians to build foundational musicianship skills through group classes, theory, and ensemble participation alongside peers.
Ages 14 and Up
Senior Division
An advanced track preparing students for competitions, conservatory auditions, and professional-level performance through intensive coaching and repertoire development.
